Terms of Use

These Terms govern use of HomeProof, a personal record-keeping app for home inventory and renewal-readiness organization.

Personal Record Keeping Only

HomeProof is not an insurance company, insurance adjuster, insurance advisor, legal advisor, appraisal service, claim filing service, or payout guarantee. Reports generated by HomeProof are personal organization records, not official appraisals, legal documents, insurance advice, or claim submissions.

User Responsibility

You are responsible for confirming, editing, and maintaining your inventory and readiness records. AI-generated suggestions can be incomplete or incorrect and must be reviewed before use.

Cloud AI Processing

When cloud scan mode is enabled and you tap Analyze Room, selected room photos and scan context may be processed by HomeProof's backend on Convex and by OpenAI to produce editable inventory suggestions. You should not upload content you do not have permission to use or documents that are not needed for your personal inventory record.

Premium Features

HomeProof may offer premium features such as full PDF export, receipt and warranty organization, renewal-readiness checklists, and higher scan or inventory limits. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Subscriptions renew unless canceled through your Apple account settings.

Current planned pricing is Monthly at $7.99, Annual at $49.99, and Lifetime at $129.99, subject to App Store territory pricing, taxes, and Apple purchase confirmation. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account settings. Restore purchases is available in the app.

Acceptable Use

Do not upload content you do not have permission to use, content that violates law, or documents that are not needed for your personal inventory record.

No Guarantee

HomeProof does not guarantee insurance coverage, reimbursement, claim approval, appraisal value, replacement value, or any legal or financial outcome.
